The HRIS Specialist supports the Human Resources-Benefit and Payroll departments and is a liaison with the IT department, primarily supporting HRIS system configurations (HR, Payroll, Time Attendance, Surveys Evaluations), including, but not limited to, upgrades, security, custom reporting, integrations, timekeeping, onboarding and performance modules. This role is also responsible for the design, development, testing and for conducting on-going administration of the human resources information system, for processing and maintaining employee information, developing recurring or special reports and conducting regular audits of data input to ensure accuracy of information. Additionally, this role is responsible for system updates and changes and supporting IT, Payroll and HR-Benefits departments. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Manage and execute all HRIS system set ups (HR, Payroll, Time Attendance, Surveys Evaluations); Troubleshoot and oversee problem solving for any data or system interface issues; Provide user support for HRIS system by researching and resolving problems as needed; Write, maintain and support a variety of complex reports or queries utilizing the appropriate reporting tools; Provide training to HRIS users to develop their skills in running and creating reports; Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data and driving accountability; Conduct beta and user acceptance testing and provide feedback on new functionality, upgrades, patches, etc.; Lead in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS upgrades or patches; Support future application needs of the firm by participating in User Groups and Committees; Work with various other HR function areas (such as Payroll and Benefits) in setting up their systems needs (e.g. annual benefits enrollment); Work with IT department in understanding other firm systems and their impact on HR systems.
