New York - Campus Recruiter






The Campus Recruiter is responsible for leading operational activities related to campus recruiting.

The Campus Recruiter is responsible for organizing and executing various local campus events and activities (career fairs, campus presentations, interviews, office visits, internship events and summer leadership conference) with the objective of meeting hiring forecasts and plans. They will assist in managing and executing the campus recruiting strategy at assigned local office(s) and schools. This role requires developing relationships with candidates, practice personnel, and campus representatives (such as student organization leads and career services personnel). The Campus Recruiter also works with local, regional, and national teams to deliver new ideas and fresh perspectives to the program. Responsibilities will include hiring for full time and intern positions.

GeographIC Responsibility

Northeast region offices – main focus in New York with assistance in Boston, Philadelphia, Toronto, and Metro DC as needed.


+ Serve as point of contact for students, career centers, and Protiviti personnel during the campus recruiting process.

+ Assist with the creation and execution of annual hiring plans, recruiting budget, and calendar of events.

+ Assist with the planning and execution of the New York office Summer Intern Program.

+ Assist with the planning and execution of the New York office Summer Leadership Conference.

+ Partner with core campus recruiting teams to build relationships and enhance presence at core recruiting schools.

+ Coordinate and attend campus recruiting activities such as career fairs, campus interviews, information sessions and office visits.

+ Ensure proper leadership and coverage at campus events.

+ Assist with the creation and delivery of candidate communications, which may include but is not limited to campus events detail emails, on-campus interview scheduling and details emails, decline emails, offer letters, and candidate follow up.

+ Ensure accurate candidate documentation via applicant tracking system.

+ Provide tracking and reporting related to campus recruiting, which may include but is not limited to resume submission data, interview results, and hiring results.

+ Assist with ongoing development and execution of the campus recruiting strategy, including identifying creative approaches to campus recruiting.

+ Conduct candidate interviews (by phone or in person) as needed

+ Participate in all U.S. and Regional campus recruiting team calls and communication

+ Participate in U.S. and Regional campus recruiting initiatives as appropriate


+ Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Business, Management, Communications, English, Human Resources)


+ 2-5 years in campus recruiting or a related field, preferably in professional services


+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

+ Excellent leadership and mentoring skills

+ Professional, confident, enthusiastic and detail-oriented

+ Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

+ Ability to coordinate and maintain follow-up on a number of projects simultaneously

+ Ability to prioritize changing workloads

+ Demonstrated initiative and interest in being a self-starter

+ Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment and be resourceful

+ Interest in and enthusiasm for campus recruiting within a professional services environment

+ Knowledge of the consulting industry, business terminology and processes preferred

+ Proficient skills in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)


+ The position requires travel to other Protiviti offices and/or campuses, especially during peak recruiting periods
