The Digital Innovation Group (DIG) at Providence Health & Services is a small but mighty product development and incubation team that is building next-gen tools that give patients convenient and easy access to healthcare virtually anywhere, anytime.

We are seeking a Principal Recruiter, Software Engineering to be responsible for delivering top software engineering talent to the Digital Innovation Group at Providence. This position is located in Seattle, WA .

The focus for this role will be building and executing strategies to fill technical roles on the Digital Innovation Group to help them drive game changing technical innovation in the Healthcare industry. The goal of the DIG team is to use disruptive technologies to improve health care, and to bring health care to more people.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
• Manage full-cycle recruiting process with a focus on strong hiring manager partnership and candidate advocacy.
• Partner with hiring managers and business leaders (Director, Exec Dir, VP, etc.) to assess short and long term hiring requirements and collaborate on the external talent acquisition strategy.
• Collaborate with the TA team to refine and identify new ways to build talent pipelines and execute on tactical research, referral generation, events and sourcing campaigns.
• Find, engage and activate passive candidates.
• Screen resumes and interview candidates to determine fit.
• Facilitate interview and hiring decision-making process with technical interviewers and hiring managers.

Required qualifications for this position include:
• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, organizational development, human resources, or related area Or equivalent educ/experience.
• 7 years recruiting experience, with 4 or more of those years with an in-house corporate recruiting team, primarily focused on software engineering and related niche skill sets focused on FTE profiles within a commercial or consumer product development organization (Java and C# devs, iOS, Android, etc).
• Ability to execute comprehensive sourcing and attraction plans.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing resumes against job requirements, behavioral interviewing candidates against competencies and presenting recommendations to Hiring Managers.
• Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution.
• Proven success having personally sourced candidates using networking, social media, events, competitive intelligence/research, sourcing tools and other programs such as employee referrals, diversity, military and professional outreach.
• Experience managing successful debrief sessions leading a team through the final decision making process.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:
• Experience in consumer electronics and mobile application industry.
• Experience in E-commerce and software development organizations.
• Experience with Taleo and Avature.
