At Otter Products we have an awesome Otter Relations (human resources) team! We are currently searching for a Sr. Recruiter to join our Recruiting and Compensation team in Otter Relations. The Sr. Recruiter will be a trusted talent advisor, partnering with hiring managers to strategically fill key technical and high level roles in the organization. In this role you will proactively research positions, the market and the business group to recommend recruitment strategies for open roles. You will use a strong knowledge of the organization, business groups, technical skillsets needed and industry to recommend recruitment strategies for all requisitions. The ideal candidate will have strong, proactive communication skills and the ability to tackle each requisition with a creative mindset. This position will be located in our Fort Collins, CO office.


  • Utilize knowledge of business strategy to build relationships with hiring managers and create a recruitment strategy for each requisition using information gathered in the job kickoff and recorded on the requisition detail sheet.
  • Utilize existing tools (Wanted Analytics, applicant tracking system, etc.) to recommend a recruiting strategy for each requisition.
  • Develop partner-driven relationships with hiring managers by understanding how their lines of business fit into the overall organizational strategy and what their short and long term talent needs are.
  • Use developed process to conduct full life cycle recruitment including job kickoff, sourcing, phone interviews, hiring manager update meetings, onsite interviews, offer process, etc.
  • Understand, leverage and enhance the company culture and employer brand throughout the recruitment process and provide realistic job previews and expectations to candidates.
  • Participate in developing a forward-thinking approach to sourcing and filling talent pipeline.
  • Partner with and leverage the expertise of Otter Relations Business Partners throughout the recruiting process.
  • Understand the importance of talent metrics and use them to continuously improve personal and team performance.
  • Utilize a variety of passive and direct sourcing techniques such as database mining, Internet searching, participating in and networking within associates, organizations, cold calling and conducting and gathering competitive research on direct competitor organizations.
  • Work within an application tracking system to manage the recruiting process from requisition creation thru onboarding.
  • Participate in the management of job descriptions including the creation of new descriptions, updating existing descriptions and ensuring consistency across the organization.
  • Other duties as required.


  • Bachelor’s degree required. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
  • Minimum four years of corporate recruiting experience required. Experience with technical recruiting preferred.
  • AIRS certification(s) preferred.
