We are looking for a Talent Sourcer with a passion for manufacturing and problem solving to join our growing Saint Gobain Talent Acquisition team!  You will help drive our talent attraction strategy, engage talent and build a diverse pipeline of candidates who are excited about Saint Gobain and our mission! As you define the search, you’ll consult with HR & hiring managers (HMs) on the what, where, and how of the sourcing strategy, including qualifications, market place data, trends, sourcing channels, etc. As a subject matter expert, you will use your creativity to develop and implement strategic solutions that enable our recruiting/HR colleagues to hire the right manufacturing talent more effectively and efficiently. This new role will also have the opportunity to help shape the direction of the sourcing function in North America.


The Talent Sourcer will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition and be accountable for:

  • Developing consultative partnerships with Hiring Managers & HR to set the strategic direction for targeted sourcing efforts on our most critical manufacturing leadership profiles.
  • Identifying gaps in the talent demand/supply and actively work with stakeholders to bridge the gaps.
  • Working closely with the business and HR to actively engage & build relationships with talent to grow our talent community, providing relevant and accurate information about the opportunities & our businesses all while delivering a positive candidate experience.
  • Leveraging your expertise, evidence & various technologies to actively research, develop, and implement sourcing strategies to identify talent for both short and long term talent gaps.
  • Becoming knowledgeable of our various businesses to ensure you can articulate our value proposition & serve as the face of Saint Gobain North America via various channels (on-line, event, etc) to market and promote our opportunities.
  • Implementing, testing and refining innovative approaches to sourcing – including the application of various data analytics/competitive intelligence, sourcing/recruitment channels, recruitment marketing resources and tools. Maximize utilization of market research techniques.
  • Identifying and validating top talent from target spaces (competitors, associations, industry, etc.) & using the data to select sources that provide quality hires.
  • Evaluating and sharing the results of your own productivity and effectiveness through use of defined metrics.
  • Working on a variety of projects, including: benchmarking and capability building initiatives that can support and be shared across the various businesses.

Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree required or 5+ years' experience in recruitment, talent sourcing, research or executive search required.
  • Demonstrated expertise leveraging social channels for recruitment like LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor and Facebook. 
  • Deep expertise in understanding relevant functional roles including acronyms, candidate behavior, market trends, and how to apply, find and engage top talent.
  • 5+ years’ experience assessing and identifying the needs of Hiring Managers and developing & implementing creative strategies to attract, source and engage talent.
  • Ability to locate and procure data from original sources & comfortable using internet search engines and telephone.
  • Demonstrated success using TA systems such as Applicant Tracking Systems, CRMs & recruitment marketing tools.
  • Demonstrated success building relationships with external talent to evolve them into applicants.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills with the ability to partner well with others to effectively accomplish goals.

 

Preferred

  • 5+ years’ experience sourcing/recruiting for various leadership roles in manufacturing is strongly preferred.
  • A background in executive search or market research, library science, and a strong analytical aptitude.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal/state/regional employment law and equal employment guidelines and policies as they apply to recruitment and selection.
  • Strong project management, organization, and time management/prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet.
